This prestigious event marks the very first time that Spain has had the privilege of hosting the renowned women's team golf tournament.

The organizers could not contain their excitement when selecting Finca Cortesin as the extraordinary venue to host the 2023 Solheim Cup. This decision is significant as it marks the first time that Spain has been granted the privilege of hosting this prestigious women's team golf tournament. Finca Cortesin's elegance and charm perfectly align with the grandeur of the Solheim Cup, making it the ideal location to showcase the finest women golfers from Europe and the United States.

The organizers are confident that the picturesque AndalucĂa region of Casares, Southern Spain will provide a breathtaking backdrop for the intense battles on the green. This historic occasion will undoubtedly leave a lasting impression on the golfing world, further solidifying Spain's place as a premier destination for world-class golf tournaments.

Team Europe currently holds the cup after defeating Team US with a score of 15-13 at the esteemed Inverness Club in Toledo, Ohio in 2021.

Nestled within a sprawling 215-hectare estate along Spain's stunning Costa del Sol, Finca Cortesin boasts a championship-standard golf course, the prestigious Jack Nicklaus Academy, a magnificent five-star hotel, residential properties for sale, a rejuvenating spa, state-of-the-art sports facilities, an exclusive beach club, and a delightful shopping area. Notably, this remarkable venue has played host to numerous high-profile golf events, including the Volvo World Match Play Championship on three separate occasions.

Excitingly, Finca Cortesin has recently unveiled an all-new first hole that promises to be a highlight of the Solheim Cup. This reimagined opening hole measures a driveable 256 metres and is a par-4, featuring a stunningly large lake that stretches along the left side and reaches the front of the green. The narrow, well-protected fairway adds a touch of challenge, while the generous but lively green adds an element of excitement to this captivating course.
